À l'Unisson: This site has been created in response to the ever-increasing demand from foreign couples wishing to celebrate their marriage or seal their union under the unique light of the Côte d’Azur .

Having met singers Aude and Bernard, either at one of their concerts, shows, lyrical events or else directly via their website, the couples ask them to set their marriage to music, to highlight moments of the ceremony with sacred or non-religious songs, accompanied by musicians.

Aude Sardier and Bernard Imbert live between Nice and Paris but also have ties to Toulouse, Avignon and Marseille. Getting around is not a problem for them.
A musical marriage accompanied by a female voice is an experience guaranteed to stir profound emotions. The entrance of the bride in unison with the sound of a soprano singing is one of the most emotional experiences that exists.

Live music lends a magical dimension to any event … Whether it be a mass, a blessing or a civil ceremony, Aude Sardier and Bernard Imbert have a wide repertoire of songs that they can adapt for each and every type of musical marriage, whether it be a religious or civil ceremony.

They are often asked to perform the holy songs, and when singing the Ave Marias they are able to evoke exactly the right level of emotion appropriate to a musical marriage.
As part of the sacred music festival in Nice they created a concert entitled Ave Maria en Musique, which included their renditions of Schubert’s Ave Maria (soprano), Gounod’s Ave Maria (soprano), Caccini’s Ave Maria (soprano), Camille St Saëns’ Ave Maria (soprano and baritone) as well as Ave Marias sung by a vocal quartet.

Certain newlyweds-to-be prefer non-religious music for their wedding ceremony. In these cases the singers choose a song or songs from their vast operatic repertoire to accompany the musical marriage. This is another way of sanctifying this most magical moment. Obviously all of the songs chosen are relevant to marriage or to the wider notion of Love.
A musical marriage can also be a mini concert performed by both singers during the celebratory cocktail or meal - a truly interactive lyrical event. There are many duets on the theme of love, from the worlds of both opera and operetta, which lend themselves perfectly to this musical marriage option.

After the gravity of the marriage ceremony this is a chance to hear a lighter style of singing, where poetry and comedy are set to music. This is a moment that is always much appreciated by the guests, and the chance for them to meet the singers in person.

As for the musicians accompanying Aude Sardier and Bernard Imbert, there are several possibilities.
They usually bring their pianist and digital piano with them. The harp – such a magical instrument - is often used to accompany either the female or male singer. Occasionally, if requested, an additional instrument or two can be added to the trio – for example an oboe d’amore, a flute or a violin.

The only drawback to these two singers is that they are in such high demand, whether it be for musical marriages, “lyrical cocktails”, or above all for their respective careers. However, they have a number of singers – male and female - and professional musicians within their entourage, all with the same desire to convey emotions and share an unforgettable moment with you … with music
